Russian military plane crashes in the Black Sea, killing 92
A Russian military plane with 92 individuals on load up has collided with the Black Sea, Russia's protection service says.
The plane vanished from radar two minutes in the wake of taking off from Sochi at 05:25 (02:25 GMT), heading for Latakia in Syria.
Garbage and a few bodies have been found, without any reports of survivors.
The Tu-154 was conveying fighters, journalists and 64 individuals from the acclaimed Alexandrov military music outfit who were to perform for Russian troops.
President Vladimir Putin has said Monday will be a day of national grieving.
The flight had started in Moscow and arrived at Adler airplane terminal in Sochi for refueling.
The resistance service said in an announcement: "Parts of the Tu-154 plane of the Russian guard service were discovered 1.5km (one mile) from the Black Sea shore of the city of Sochi at a profundity of 50 to 70m (165-230ft)."
Service representative Maj-Gen Igor Konashenkov said: "No survivors have been spotted."
